Erie and Niagara County residents who regularly commute to work by carpool, vanpool, public transit, walking, or biking are eligible for the free Guaranteed Ride Program (GRP). When you have a commuting emergency and can’t use your regular active and sustainable commute mode, we’ll get you to your destination by Uber, Lyft, or taxi —up to 12 free rides per year (limited to $45 per trip and up to $175 per year).

Just fill out the form below to register for the program. Once your application is reviewed and approved, you will receive an email with further instructions via email on how to use the program.

Please Note: Individuals who primarily drive alone or use Uber, Lyft, taxi, or other on-demand rideshare services as their regular commute mode are not eligible.
