Erie County has been an early adopter of employee transportation benefits. A GO Buffalo Niagara member since 2022, the County’s Department of Environment and Planning, along with their Green Team, is working with us to understand and address the transportation challenges of their workforce. Today, Erie County stands out in WNY by providing employees with amenities for an active commute. This includes perks like secure indoor bike parking, free bikeshare memberships, and showers!

The partnership between Erie County and GO Buffalo Niagara has also led to the formation of an Employee Commuter Committee. These dedicated employees meet quarterly to drive initiatives around active and sustainable transportation.
